One-fourth have tattoos
Washington - About 24 percent of Americans between the ages of 18 and 50 have tattoos, suggests a study published by the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.

About 36 percent of Americans ages 18 to 29 have tattoos, the study shows.
About one in seven people - and nearly one in three of respondents ages 18 to 29 - report having a piercing somewhere other than the earlobe.
