RHA Serum | Teoxane
This innovative serum brings injectable-inspired hyaluronic acid technology into a daily skin care format for patients, with a focus on supporting skin quality before and after aesthetic procedures. Developed by Teoxane, the formulation features patented Resilient Hyaluronic Acid (RHA) technology, which combines crosslinked and non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid to create a breathable surface mesh designed to enhance hydration retention, support the skin barrier, and improve visible signs of aging. Unlike traditional hyaluronic acid products that primarily function as humectants, RHA Serum is designed to provide both immediate and sustained hydration through its dual-action HA architecture. The formulation contains 3% RHA alongside a botanical hydrating complex, including tamarind extract, Japanese blood grass root extract, marine exopolysaccharides, and sodium hyaluronate. Clinical studies have evaluated the serum in patients following aesthetic procedures, including injectables, microneedling, and chemical peels. In a prospective, randomized, investigator-blinded split-face study, use of the serum was associated with immediate increases in hydration (+130%), along with improvements in elasticity (+25%) and tonicity (+26%) over subsequent weeks.1 Ex vivo research using human skin explants also demonstrated increased endogenous hyaluronic acid levels and stimulation of collagen I and IV synthesis. The serum may be particularly relevant for patients experiencing dehydration, reduced elasticity, fine lines, or compromised barrier function, as well as those seeking supportive skin care before and after in-office aesthetic treatments.
“Dermatologists and clinicians should view RHA Serum as the direct translation of injectable-grade expertise into advanced skin care. In essence, this is not just another hyaluronic acid-based skincare product; it is a clinically backed, technology-driven solution that bridges the gap between aesthetic medicine and daily skincare, empowering practitioners to deliver more comprehensive and long-lasting results to their patients.” - Carine Blondin, MBA, global director of aesthetic skincare at Teoxane, told Dermatology Times.
Pro-Longevity Face Serum | Re-Q Health
Re-Q's serum is positioned as a next-generation longevity-focused skin care product designed to support cellular function and enhance the skin’s regenerative capacity rather than solely address visible signs of aging. The formulation centers on RX 201, a topical active intended to modulate the mTOR pathway, a cellular signaling pathway involved in repair, metabolism, and aging processes. The proposed mechanism is to support healthier fibroblast function, allowing these cells to more efficiently produce collagen and maintain skin quality over time.2 A 12-week, double-blind, placebo-controlled study involving 45 women aged 35 to 65 years across multiple skin types, evaluated outcomes including firmness, sagging, tone, orbital elasticity, radiance, texture, wrinkles, tolerability, histology, and epigenetic profiling. At 12 weeks, participants using the serum demonstrated improvements in firmness, skin tone, sagging, and orbital elasticity compared with vehicle control, with continued improvement observed throughout the study period. Additional laboratory findings presented included improvements in fibroblast morphology and function in aged donor skin following treatment with RX 201, with treated fibroblasts demonstrating characteristics associated with younger, more efficient cells. The serum is intended as a complementary step within an existing skin care routine and may be used alongside procedures such as lasers, injectables, and other collagen-stimulating treatments. It may be particularly relevant for patients interested in proactive skin aging strategies, barrier support, and optimizing skin quality over time
“We're targeting the aging process, not just the signs of it. And this goes beyond correction and protection. It's a cellular reset, so everything else can work better when you start with healthy, efficient fibroblasts and their mitochondria...In my office, we see patients come back with better hydration, better skin quality, and better barrier repair measures.” - Doris Day, FAAD, board-certified dermatologist at Day Cosmetic, Laser, and Comprehensive Dermatology in New York, New York, and clinical professor of dermatology at the New York University Langone Medical Center said to Dermatology Times
Healthy Scalp Clarifying Shampoo and Conditioner | SEEN
SEEN, founded by dermatologist
“Hair care that supports scalp and follicle health is essential to optimize hair regrowth results. SEEN supports healthy hair follicles and scalp health by helping keep the hair follicle clear and removing many common irritants and allergens. The study results highlight the importance of a hair care regimen in supporting treatment outcomes with minoxidil 5% foam for women experiencing hair loss.” - Rubin said in a recent statement
Eczema Relief Skin Protectant Lotion | CuralysMD
CuralysMD is a non-prescription, colloidal oatmeal–based dermatologic topical designed for mild-to-moderate atopic dermatitis (AD), with a barrier-first strategy that addresses epidermal barrier dysfunction, itch–inflammation signaling, and microbial imbalance. Powered by patented SMRTActiv Technology, a dual plant-derived lipid platform, the lotion is intended for long-term maintenance, flare reduction, and steroid-sparing care in both pediatric and adult patients. According to the company, the platform was built through years of mechanistic, translational, and clinical research focused on restoring skin barrier function and interrupting the itch–inflammation cycle. Clinical studies demonstrated improvements in skin clearance, itch reduction, reduced topical steroid use, safety, and statistically significant reduction of Staphylococcus aureus on skin, a known contributor to AD flares and barrier dysfunction.4 CuralysMD may be used alongside prescription therapies or as a standalone option for mild to moderate disease
“CuralysMD reflects a broader shift in atopic dermatitis management: from reactive inflammation control toward restoration of epidermal resilience. Developed through a decade of mechanistic and clinical research, this barrier-first platform is designed to support hydration, barrier integrity, microbiome balance, and itch-prone skin while helping reduce irritation and corticosteroid dependence. It can be used alone or alongside other therapeutic approaches as part of a long-term skin management strategy.” - Ratan K. Chaudhuri, PhD, founder and CEO of CuralysMD, said to Dermatology Times.
Refreshing Citric AHA Face Wash | Alpha Skin Care
This is a gentle, soap-free exfoliating cleanser designed to support daily cleansing while incorporating the resurfacing benefits of citric alpha hydroxy acid (AHA). The formulation is intended to remove debris, excess oil, makeup, and surface corneocytes without the excessive dryness or tightness that can occur with some exfoliating cleansers. Unlike many exfoliating cleansers that rely on higher concentrations of glycolic acid or salicylic acid, citric AHA is used as a gentler approach to supporting epidermal turnover and surface exfoliation. The fragrance-free, alcohol-free, and paraben-free formulation may make it a consideration for patients with sensitive skin or those with concerns related to barrier disruption. According to the company, BioScreen testing was performed to evaluate potential irritation and allergy concerns. The cleanser may be appropriate for a broad range of skin types, including patients seeking a mild resurfacing step within a daily skin care routine. It may also complement retinoid-based or other age-management regimens when patients require controlled exfoliation with an emphasis on tolerability. The product is designed to pair with the brand’s Enhanced Renewal Cream as well, for a broader skin-renewal approach.5
"As an educator, I appreciate that the Alpha Refreshing Face Wash offers gentle exfoliation without compromising the skin barrier, which makes it ideal for daily use. It definitely avoids the harshness that comes with a lot of other exfoliating cleansers.” - Catie Loughlin, skin care specialist at Alpha Skin Care, told Dermatology Times
