Melanoma vaccine testing
Buenos Aires, Argentina — WorldNow reports that researchers in Argentina have successfully tested a new vaccine to prevent recurrence of melanoma.

Buenos Aires, Argentina - WorldNow reports that researchers in Argentina have successfully tested a new vaccine to prevent recurrence of melanoma.
A group of 20 patients who had undergone successful surgery for melanoma were treated with a series of four vaccines over four months. After three years, 75 percent of those patients remained cancer-free.
Study of the vaccine is to continue before being presented to the Argentinian government for approval.
