The 34th European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) Congress begins today and runs until Saturday, September 20, at the Paris Convention Centre in Paris, France. As one of the largest dermatology conferences of the year, EADV brings together clinicians, researchers, and industry leaders from across the globe to spark insightful conversations and discuss the latest advances in dermatology.

Attendees will have access to over 170 scientific sessions, 130 exhibitors, and 25 subspecialty tracks, including plenary lectures and late-breaking abstracts on the newest clinical trials. Key takeaways are expected in the management of inflammatory skin diseases, advances in biologics and small molecules, and longer-term safety data for newer agents. Compelling research on systemics and topical treatments for atopic dermatitis, alopecia, chronic spontaneous urticaria, prurigo nodularis, psoriasis, and chronic hand eczema will push the frontiers of the field.

From the role of the skin microbiome in acne and hidradenitis suppurativa to the latest management tips for pediatric hair disorders, dermatologists can expect shifts in practice guidelines, treatment paradigms, and patient‑centered care models. Exciting workshops on dermoscopy, wound healing, botulinum toxin, and confocal microscopy will also be given. To keep up with all of the late-breaking news and conference coverage, click here.

A standout theme at EADV 2025 is the growing emphasis on dermatology within global health frameworks. Following the recent World Health Assembly resolution on skin diseases, sessions will spotlight how dermatological care intersects with universal health coverage, neglected tropical diseases, and the global burden of inflammatory and infectious skin conditions. The Congress offers an opportunity to engage in shaping dermatology’s role in global health policy and practice.
