Exeter, N.H. - Seacoast Pathology, based here, has launched its new DermDX division, which features a state-of-the-art on-site laboratory to service New England-area dermatologists and their patients.

- Seacoast Pathology, based here, has launched its new DermDX division, which features a state-of-the-art on-site laboratory to service New England-area dermatologists and their patients.

According to a Seacoast press release, DermDX offers diagnostic services for complex skin diseases and cancers, with rapid turnaround times for both routine and urgent diagnoses. The laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists and is licensed by the Massachusetts and New Hampshire Departments of Health.

The press release quotes Seacoast managing director Maurice Fremont-Smith, M.D., as saying, “This initiative is a key step in realizing our mission to improve the lives of patients by providing superior diagnostic services to the New England healthcare community. Preventative care and early treatment are paramount for patient wellness.”

Seacoast is a division of Aurora Diagnostics, a Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., specialized laboratory company.
