FDA committee recommends approval of alefacept (Amevive) for treatmentof psoriasis

Silver Spring, Md. - The FDA Dermatologic and OphthalmicAdvisory Committee on May 23 strongly recommended approval of alefacept,a systemic drug for the treatment of chronic plaque psoriasis.
