FDA clears RF resurfacing device

Article

EndyMed Medical announced that it has received Food and Drug Administration clearance for its Fractional Skin Resurfacing Applicator, PRWeb.com reports.

Caesarea, Israel - EndyMed Medical, based here, announced that it has received Food and Drug Administration clearance for its Fractional Skin Resurfacing Applicator, PRWeb.com reports.

The device, an additional module for the EndyMed PRO multi-application treatment platform, uses multisource radiofrequency to resurface the skin.

According to the company, the Fractional Skin Resurfacing Applicator uses a computerized algorithm to deliver deep dermal heating to multiple microscopic treatment points, with minimal discomfort and downtime. The company says the device’s advantage is that it provides simultaneous “fractional resurfacing and treatment of the deeper layers of the skin by delivering to them uniquely large amounts, hence, treating all skin layers in one pulse.”

Eclipse Aesthetics is the U.S. distributor, according to PRWeb.com.
