What to Expect at the 2022 Virtual RAD Conference

The Revolutionizing Atopic Dermatitis Conference takes place on December 11th, 2022.

As the weekend begins, the Dermatology Times® editorial staff is preparing for the 2022 virtual Revolutionizing Atopic Dermatitis (RAD)Conference on December 11th. The conference will cover a variety of topics related to atopic dermatitis treatment including topical formulations, Janus Kinase (JAK) inhibitors, atopic dermatitis in skin of color patients, and mental health.

“RAD is really the first international multidisciplinary conference addressing atopic dermatitis and the broader comorbidities that impact patients. There is so much happening in atopic dermatitis, so many new therapies, it's absolutely amazing to see. We are in a golden era of atopic dermatitis. So, I'm really excited. We'll have our first mini symposium addressing treatment updates and atopic dermatitis, really practical and grounded for the clinician; what are the new therapies? How do we use them and when to use them? There will be an amazing panel discussion that will be used to highlight different ways in which we can treat our complicated patients with these newer therapies,” said Jonathan Silverberg, MD, PhD, MPH, conference chair of RAD.

The annual one-day virtual conference is full of informative presentations, expert panel discussions, and poster presentations. The editors of Dermatology Times® will be covering the conference virtually, reporting on numerous engaging sessions, as well as sharing exclusive interviews with key opinion leaders before the start of the conference. Some of the upcoming content from RAD includes:

  • Topical formulations in atopic dermatitis
  • Oral JAK inhibitors
  • Atopic dermatitis in skin of color patients
  • Atopic dermatitis and mental health outcomes
  • Digital innovation in research and healthcare
  • Opportunities for digital atopic dermatitis care
