Washington D.C. - Cryoanesthesia using the refrigerant spray dichlorotetrafluoroethane (Freon 114; Frigiderm) safely and effectively reduces the pain of botulinum toxin type A (Botox) injections for palmar hyperhidrosis but does not interfere with the efficacy of that treatment for decreasing sweating, said Leslie S.
