Edinburgh, Scotland - A goldfish on display at the Royal Museum of Scotland has undergone cosmetic surgery after visitors said it looked ugly.
The fish went under the knife to have a cyst removed from its eye.
A spokeswoman said some younger visitors had worried that the fish was in distress. She said the growth, though unsightly, was harmless.
The operation was funded by coins thrown into the fishpond, according to news reports.
