Video transcript:
Kaitlyn Bader, Associate Editor: Thank you, Dr. Farris, for joining us today. With the upcoming conference in Denver, Colorado, and as a member of our board of Dermatology Times® and a busy dermatologic professional, what are you looking forward to with this upcoming conference? And why do you think it's important for members to attend ASDS?
Patricia Farris, MD: I think ASDS is a really unique meeting. It brings together like-minded surgical and cosmetic dermatologists. And it's a very collegial exchange of ideas. I always come away from this meeting learning things, picking up pearls from experts and people who I really admire. So, I think it's a really must-attend meeting for anybody who's interested in surgery or in cosmetics. I personally am going in a little bit early this year to attend the entrepreneur's section of the meeting, which is going to be held on Thursday. I'm really excited to attend this session. I started some businesses in the skincare arena, and I've worked with lots of companies. So, entrepreneurship is something that I think is really valuable and I'm really interested in. I also love going through the exhibits at this particular meeting because they have so many of the new technologies and you learn so much just down in the exhibit hall.
