Running subcuticular suture technique saves time for Mohs patients, surgeons
Chicago - A modified running subcuticular suture technique is a safe and effective alternative for the primary layered closure of Mohs defects. Compared to use of simple interrupted sutures, it has the advantage of eliminating a follow-up visit for suture removal, Brian Streams, M.D., said at the annual meeting of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery & Cutaneous Oncology.
