Parents warned not to rely solely on sunscreens
Geneva - Although sunscreens have their value, parents should not be lulled into a false sense of security about the risks to children of too much exposure to sunlight. "The more sun they get in childhood, the higher is their danger of having skin cancer when they become adults," French researcher Jean-François Doré, Ph.D., said at the European Academy of Dermatology of Venereology meeting.
