New prognostic models aid assessment of melanoma prognosis, treatment approach

New Orleans - New staging criteria for melanoma can help quantify a particular patient's prognosis, but results of a recent investigation emphasize that the risk estimates it provides are population-specific, DuPont Guerry, M.D. reported here at the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
