Multiple Factors Play Role in Wide Local Excision of Primary Melanomas
Paris - Tumor thickness is the primary factor determining the extent of the surgical margin when performing wide local excision of Stage I and II melanomas, but other lesional features, including diameter and location, may need to be taken into account, D?r?Ratner, M.D., said at the World Congress of Dermatology.
