Methyl aminolevulinate treatment less painful for AK, BCC patients
Los Angeles - Photodynamic therapy using a derivative of 5-aminolevulinic acid hydrochloride (5-ALA) provides a significantly higher clinically efficacy and cosmetic result versus cryotherapy for treatment of actinic keratosis, according to Paul S. Yamauchi, M.D., Ph.D.
