Exton, Pa. - Isolagen has presented an analysis of phase 3 study data of Isolagen Therapy for the treatment of nasolabial folds, PR Newswire reports.
Both studies were conducted under a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Special Protocol Assessment and reported statistically significant results. A company spokesperson says the data shows Isolagen Therapy not only corrects the appearance of wrinkles, but gradually rejuvenates the skin over time.

The placebo-controlled studies investigated the efficacy and safety of Isolagen Therapy for the treatment of nasoloabial folds in 421 people at 13 clinical sites across the United States.

The therapy multiplies a patient’s own collagen-producing cells into tens of millions of new cells before returning them to the person’s skin. It is designed to improve photodamage, aging skin, acne and burns, PR Newswire reports.
