In a recent interview with Dermatology Times, George Martin, MD, founder and program director of the Maui Derm series, offered an enthusiastic preview of the Maui Derm NP+PA Fall 2025 Conference, taking place from September 20 to 23 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Known for blending high-level dermatologic education with a collaborative spirit, this event brings together nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and top-tier dermatology faculty for 4 days of immersive learning in Music City. Martin emphasized the unique “bench-to-bedside” approach of the program, designed to immediately impact clinical practice.

“It's our hope that you'll come away from the meeting with a goal of changing and enhancing your practice habits and have really a wealth of information to bring back to your clinic Monday morning,” he said.

Whether attending in person or virtually, participants can expect a carefully curated and enlightening curriculum packed with the latest in medical dermatology, therapeutics, and procedural techniques. Some top sessions include the Literature Review, a 90-minute deep dive into key articles from the past year, not only from dermatology journals, but across all of medicine, and “New Drugs and New Therapies,” co-presented by Martin and Ted Rosen, MD. Martin is also looking forward to talks on cutaneous oncology, acne and rosacea, and pediatric dermatology, as well as expert-led clinics on demoscopy and pigmented lesions. However, he stressed that choosing a favorite session is like “being asked to pick your favorite child.”

“We have such an array of topics that even a person like me who's been in dermatology for 40 years...I'm continuously learning through every session, and so I have no favorites,” Martin noted.

In addition to the Nashville meeting, Martin highlighted the broader Maui Derm series for all clinicians, including upcoming events in Maui and Puerto Rico. All meetings offer live and virtual attendance options, with recorded content accessible for a month afterward, ideal for continued learning and CME acquisition.
