Imiquimod promotes regrowth in alopecia areata
New York - Imiquimod 5 percent cream (Aldara) appears to be aneffective treatment for alopecia areata, although a local inflammatory responseassociated with its use may limit tolerability and patient compliance, dermatologyresearchers from St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, N.Y., reported.
