Controlled trial finds efficacy of narrowband UVB for vitiligo treatment
New Orleans - Narrowband UVB phototherapy can produce repigmentation of vitiligo, and some patients may achieve an excellent response, but the extent of the treatment benefit appears to depend on the anatomic region of involvement, Iltefat H. Hamzavi, M.D., reported at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology.
