The reimagined Don’t Be Rash podcast positions industry leaders at the center of pediatric skin conversations.

In a strategic collaboration designed to amplify thought leadership and advance pediatric dermatology, the Society for Pediatric Dermatology (SPD), the nation’s only organization specifically dedicated to the field of children’s skin, hair, and nail disorders, and Dermatology Times, the leading clinical voice in dermatology, announce the official relaunch of the Don’t Be Rash podcast.

Originally created by SPD member Andrew C. Krakowski, MD, a double board-certified pediatric dermatologist and dermatologist with more than 20 years of experience, as an independent initiative, Don’t Be Rash now enters a new chapter as a fully supported, multimedia production presented by Dermatology Times in collaboration with SPD. Launching in March 2026, the podcast will feature pediatric dermatologists, general dermatologists, pediatricians, and cross-disciplinary experts discussing practical approaches to diagnosing and managing childhood skin disorders, emerging trends, and prevention strategies.

“This collaboration is about more than a podcast; it’s about putting pediatric dermatology on the center stage,” Krakowski said. “By partnering with SPD and Dermatology Times, we’re creating a platform where leaders in our field can share insights, challenge thinking, and inspire the next generation. At the same time, we want parents and caregivers to feel empowered to understand their child’s skin, know when to seek care, and separate common myths from real concerns.”

Designed to engage seasoned clinicians, trainees, and patients alike, Don’t Be Rash will combine high-level discussion with actionable takeaways. A recurring segment, “Skin-Tuition,” will spotlight concise clinical pearls and practical strategies that clinicians can integrate into everyday practice and that families can use in their daily lives.

The collaboration also creates new opportunities for dermatologists to elevate their professional visibility. Featured guests will benefit from promotion across SPD and Dermatology Times digital channels, including web, social media, newsletters, and podcast visibility, expanding reach beyond traditional academic forums.

“This is an invitation to our colleagues,” Krakowski said. “If you are passionate about a particular skin condition, advancing research, mentoring young physicians, improving patient outcomes, or have a topic you want covered in detail, this is your platform. Together, we can amplify the authority and impact of pediatric dermatology nationwide—and beyond!”

The podcast is available on all major streaming platforms, and more information can be found at dermatologytimes.com/podcasts.
