FDA clears Lutronic’s AccuSculpt for laser-assisted lipolysis

- Lutronic has announced Food and Drug Administration clearance for their laser-assisted lipolysis system AccuSculpt, according to a company press release.

The system is also indicated for the surgical incision, excision, vaporization, ablation and coagulation of soft tissue, according to the release, and for is the first and only pulsed Nd:YAG laser to deliver 1,444 nm wavelength for minimally invasive deep tissue heating.
