Enthusiasm for sentinel node biopsy awaits necessary validation
Washington - Necessary studies have not been completed to determine whether sentinel node biopsy in patients with malignant melanoma will be a passing fad or a critical technique for the future, Robert M. Beazley, M.D., said at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology.
