Crown Laboratories announces brand restructuring

Article

Crown Laboratories has announced business division restructuring to establish themselves in the global skin care and dermatology market.

Crown Laboratories, a Northeast Tennessee skin care company, is following in the footsteps of their new promise of “skin science for life” by announcing the rebranding of its commercial divisions to reflect that very commitment.

The company will now be establishing three different business divisions - Crown Beauty, Crown Aesthetics and Crown Therapeutics.

The announcement comes after Crown Laboratories acquired multiple assets beginning in 2018, including skin care brand Vita Liberata, aesthetic medical company Bellus Medical and six heritage brands from United Kingdom-based pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline.

Crown Aesthetics, previously Bellus Medical, will provide various products and procedures including platelet-rich plasma (PRP), Allumera, SkinPen, SKINFUSE and ProGen.

Also, Crown Beauty will offer Vita Liberata skin care products and NKD SKN sunless tanning products as a part of the restructuring.

Additionally, newly established Crown Therapeutics will be comprised of Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen, Sarna, PanOxyl and various other therapeutic brands.

“We believe the power of team is far greater than the power of one, and by incorporating Crown into each of our business unit names, we are ensuring our customers recognize the greater team that stands with them,” says Jeff Badard, President and CEO of Crown Laboratories. “Whether patients require a therapeutic solution, are seeking an aesthetic treatment or beauty need, Crown is here to fulfill those needs.”

Crown’s new commitment is to ensure the company provides patients and healthcare professionals with “science-driven skin health solutions no matter their stage in life,” according to a company press release.

The company plans on officially launching the aesthetics division at the IMCAS World Congress 2020 in Paris on Jan. 30.
