Confocal Laser Microscopy Complements Mohs Surgery

NEW ORLEANS - Although Mohs micrographic surgery, because of its accuracy, is the treatment of choice for the more difficult carcinomas of the skin, confocal laser scanning microscopy may soon become the ultimate tool in heightening perfection, Thomas E. Rohrer, M.D., said.
