Pointers With Portela: Are Made-to-Fade Tattoos Safe?

Article

In this week’s Pointers with Portela, the 208SkinDoc discusses the safety of made-to-fade tattoos.

Dustin Portela, DO, a board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon at Treasure Valley Dermatology in Boise, Idaho, reviews the safety of the recent trend of made-to-fade tattoos, specifically from Ephemeral Tattoo. Portela reviewed Ephemeral Tattoo's ink which is a medical-grade polymer based on the similar technology of dissolving sutures.

Opinions expressed are that of Portela and do not express the views or opinions of Dermatology Times®.
