Importance of Long-Term Safety Data in Plaque Psoriasis Treatment

In a retrospective study of 393 patients, 51.9% had at least 1 abnormal LFT during follow-up, but only 1.1% had elevations above 3 times the upper limit of normal.
Patients with plaque psoriasis treated with roflumilast cream or foam reported greater improvements in sexual function and relationships vs vehicle, including those with genital involvement at baseline.
By week 36, combination therapy altered 482 proteins and 467 genes vs 140 and 16 with ixekizumab alone in exploratory TOGETHER-PsO data.
At 2 years, 70% of patients on oral icotrokinra for scalp, genital, or hand/foot psoriasis had clear or almost clear skin, with no new safety signals.
Phase 3 LATITUDE Atlas data presented at EADV 2026 showed higher rates of complete and near-complete skin clearance with zasocitinib compared with deucravacitinib.
