What Exactly Is a Dermatologist?
We have recently been fired from the VA Medical Center in Tucson, an institution that had previously been an integral part of our residency training program for more than 25 years. The powers that be made this decision partly to save some money and partly for political reasons. They chose to hire their own person to care of the huge volume of veterans who are in extreme need of skilled dermatological care. I have subsequently met the physician and she seems to be a caring individual who is interested in delivering good service to her patients.
