Stray radiation scrambles action spectrum
Orlando, Fla. — Could it be that the tool dermatologists regard as the primary research supporting the need for UVA protection is mistaken? Since its origination a decade ago, the skin cancer action spectrum has given clinicians a view into why wavelengths and their effect on the skin should take precedence in prevention, but this base of knowledge could soon be changing.
