San Francisco - While the role of UVB (280-320 nm) in sunburn has been well studied, it is the role of UVA (320-400 nm) as a possible causative agent for melanoma that has drawn the attention of Michael J. Franzblau, M.D., clinical professor of dermatology, University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine.
