Transcript

Hi, I'm Dr. Matt Leavitt, and I'm a dermatologist in Orlando, Florida with a national practice. I have a great passion [for treating patients] with hair loss and [doing] hair surgery. And it's my pleasure to be speaking to you about my upcoming talk at Fall Clinical, where I'm going to give some diagnostic pearls that have been very useful to me, such as trichoscopy for hair loss, some key findings that we find with trichoscopy, as well as answering some other questions that you might be having as far as what my typical workup is, and then talk about some of the treatment algorithms that I use for hair loss.

I'll also focus some on oral minoxidil, which is gaining more and more traction. I'll focus a little bit on dutasteride, I'll talk about what I do with some intralesional techniques and how they're different than some of the other things that you're used to seeing.

But I think you'll find it a very useful presentation where you'll actually be able to take some of those pearls back into your practice and help your patients, because we know that hair loss can be incredibly distressful to those who are suffering from it, even if though it's not life threatening. So I'm looking forward to seeing you all in Las Vegas. And certainly feel free to stop by at any point that you see me and ask me any questions you have on the subject or any other so look forward to seeing you. Thank you
