Patricia Farris, MD, Gives Her Thoughts On the Upcoming South Beach Symposium

Patricia Farris, MD, shares some of the highlights that will be presented at the 2023 South Beach Symposium in Miami Beach, Florida.

Dermatology Times® Editorial Advisory Board member Patricia Farris, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist with over 35 years of experience in research, aesthetics, and clinical practice. She is co-founder of the Science of Skincare Summit, a meeting dedicated exclusively to teaching aesthetic professionals about topical skincare and its use in clinical practice. She also serves as a consultant for many well-known cosmetic companies, like L'Oreal, advising on new product development and planning.

In February she will present at, the 2023 South Beach Symposium conference in Miami Beach, Florida. This is the conference's 21st year of providing up-to-the-minute education in medical and aesthetic dermatology from world-renowned expert faculty.

Farris believes that skincare starts from within, and her 2 sessions will focus on that theory; "Skincare Supplements: Fact or Fiction" and "The Role of Nutrition and Diet in Skin Health".

The South Beach Symposium will bring together leading dermatology experts from all over the world and will feature expert panel discussions as well as live patient injections and a cadaver workshop at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel from February 9-12, 2023.

Farris gave Dermatology Times a preview of her sessions and what she is looking forward to learning about the most at this upcoming conference.
