Dual Regimen
Chicago - A combination therapy consisting of microdermabrasion with topical application of a bleaching preparation is a safe and effective technique for treatment of melasma. However, a maintenance program incorporating lifestyle changes with intermittent use of the two therapeutic modalities is needed to avoid recurrences and optimize success, said Wendy E. Roberts, M.D.
