Cardiff, Wales - Patients in the specialist skin condition ward at the University Hospital of Wales, Heath, left their sick beds to protest the planned closure of the ward.
Nurses and health staff joined them at the National Assembly, calling for the support of assembly members to demand hospital managers drop plans to shut down the ward.
The 10-bed ward, opened three years ago, provides care for patients with serious skin conditions, including psoriasis and eczema.
