A Lower Eyelid Treatment Algorithm

Jeffrey Joseph, MD, FACS, recently presented “Lower Lid Blepharoplasty: Which Procedures for Which Patients?” at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), which took place virtually this year, September 10-12, 2020.

The algorithm he developed and describes is a systematic approach to lower eyelid treatments that effectively organizes, explains, and individualizes patient treatment, he tells Aesthetic Authority. While the tool has not been published, it’s something he’s happy to share with colleagues.
