Unraveling an Asian mystery
Tokyo — Some studies have shown that photo-adaptation can help preserve epidermal DNA from UV injury. However, as most of these studies were performed by exposing the skin to several acute bursts of radiation, they do not necessarily reflect the effect of natural chronic exposure to sunlight.
