Revisiting radiation therapy as a viable option for skin cancer inseniors
Radiotherapy is an excellent alternative to surgery for elderly patientswith skin cancer, yet it has all but disappeared from today's dermatologypractice. According to Honolulu dermatologist Dougles W. Johnson, M.D.,who uses radiotherapy regularly in his practice, there are approximately300 practices throughout the United States where it has been continuallyused.
