Prevention best measure with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation
New York - Dermatologists need to be particularly vigilant for post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation when treating patients of African descent or any other darker-skinned patient for dermatologic conditions that have an inflammatory component, Susan C. Taylor, M.D., said at the annual meetinig of The Skin of Color Center, St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center.
