Picroliv holds therapeutic potential
Picroliv has demonstrated improved re-epithelialization, neovascularization and migration of endothelial, dermal myofibroblasts and fibroblasts into the wound bed in a rat model. The findings suggest that the compound, derived from a plant that grows in the Himalayas, holds therapeutic potential as a pro-angiogenic agent in wound healing.
