Dallas - Understanding of the key molecular events in the pathway leading from sun exposure to skin cancer is providing the basis for research of new nonsurgical treatments and preventive therapies for squamous cell carcinoma, David J. Leffell, M.D., said at the annual joint meeting of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology.
