Low-dose STS minimizes risks while eradicating small veins
Dallas - Low-dose sodium tetradecyl sulfate (STS, Sotradecol) is highly effective for sclerotherapy of small veins on the lower extremities but has the benefit of an enhanced safety profile relative to higher concentrations, Robert A. Weiss, M.D., said at the annual meeting of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
