Looking at laparoscopic adrenalectomy options
New York - Laparoscopic adrenalectomy is now the standard approach for benign disease, but surgical excision of solitary metastatic lesions to the adrenal gland have typically been performed as an open adrenalectomy. Surgical oncologists have found that patients whose metastases are limited to the adrenals and are completely resectable gain a survival advantage from operation.
