Dallas - Hair removal with an extended pulse-width, 800-nm diode laser (Lightsheer) offers a safe and effective alternative for the treatment of pseudofolliculitis barbae, Fran E. Cook-Bolden, M.D., said at the annual joint meeting of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology.
