Imiquimod successfully treats multiple basal cell cancers
February 10- Imiquimod 5percent cream is effective for treating multiplesuperficial basal cell carcinomas, according to Michael Freeman, M.D., adermatologist at the Skin Center in Gold Coast, Australia."Imiquimod should be a revolutionary treatment for basal cell carcinoma,"said Dr. Freeman. "Patients who are shy of scalpels just love it."
