Hardened skin lesion
A 45-year-old woman was referred to a dermatologist with a hardened skin lesion that was taut and shiny. It was oval and had a slightly violaceous outline. As the smooth plaque had developed over the past month, she had also noticed some skin changes in her genital area that she asked the doctor to check.
