Cutera announces the launch of “Heroes Among Us,” an initiative honoring its customers exhibiting extraordinary compassion, humanitarianism and kindness during COVID-19.
Cutera, a provider of laser, light and energy-based aesthetic systems, recently announced the launch of its “Heroes Among Us” initiative to honor physicians making a positive impact on their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
When restrictions closed the doors to the private practice, many physicians in the aesthetic space quickly pivoted to help support essential employees.
“From physicians going back to the ER and conducting hospital rounds to supporting food depositories and shelters, to doctors donating personal protective equipment, ventilators, and office facilities as needed, Cutera wants to shine a spotlight on its customers who are making real differences,” according to the company’s press release announcing the initiative.
The country has seen the videos of heartfelt daily applauses in New York, free meals provided to tired medical workers and the donations of thousands of PPE items to hospitals from individual donors.
Now, Cutera wants to recognize their customers exhibiting extraordinary compassion, humanitarianism and kindness right when the world needs it the most.
The initiative will choose one honoree which will be announced at Cutera University Clinical Forum (CUCF), October 23-25, 2020. The person or practice that is chosen will receive a $5,000 donation to their favorite 501C3.
