Revolutionizing Vitiligo (ReV) and Revolutionizing Alopecia Areata (RAA) will be joining forces with Revolutionizing Atopic Dermatitis (RAD) this year to form an information-packed weekend of sessions culminating in 3 distinct congresses known as RAVE (Revolutionizing Atopic Dermatitis, Alopecia Areata, and Vitiligo), being held June 8-10, in Chicago, Illinois.

According to a 2022 report done by the Global Atopic Dermatitis Atlas, roughly 223 million people are living with atopic dermatitis (AD).1

Notes RAD conference chair, Jonathan Silverberg, MD, PhD, MPH, FAAD, “During this critical time for the AD community, I felt it was important to hold a CME-accredited conference that would focus exclusively on AD and the complex information that has accrued around proper diagnosis, treatment, and management. Over the past few years, RAD has become a premier global meeting for atopic dermatitis, with over 2,000 attendees and 250 poster presentations.”

Sessions will cover such relevant issues as the topical therapy revolution; managing atopic comorbidities of atopic dermatitis; biomarkers for itch in AD and beyond; emerging therapeutics for atopic dermatitis: what to be on the lookout for; and much more.

When it comes to vitiligo, the latest figures show that some 70 million people globally are impacted by this disorder.2

Conference chair of ReV, Nan Silverberg, MD, FAAD, states, “Impressive progress has been made in managing and treating vitiligo within the past few years, and we believe this is just the beginning. However, misconceptions exist and there is still so much to learn and build upon. In addition, there is a major need for a state-of-the-art, evidence-based, multidisciplinary forum for vitiligo assessment and management. ReV is an international, multidisciplinary conference dedicated to awareness, education, and discussion of the assessment and management of vitiligo.”

At ReV, learn about pulsed steroids, methotrexate, and systemic JAKi; what is new in topical therapeutics for the pediatric, adolescent, and young adult vitiligo patient; and strategies to create a medical vitiligo clinic, among other compelling topics.

Alopecia is a surprisingly common hair disorder, affecting some 160 million people worldwide.3

Says Brett Kline, MD, conference chair of RAA, “During this exciting time for the AA community, I felt it was important to hold a conference focused exclusively on AA, a forum to discuss rapidly emerging data and the complexities of diagnosis, treatment, and management.”

At this meeting, discover what is coming down the AA pipeline; AA psychosocial impact: what is known about the failures of current assessment; and a session titled, “Non-JAK inhibitor treatment of AA: Does anything really work?”
