A. A pentapeptide is a five amino acid fragment intended to function as a regulator of cellular function. Peptides are the newest antiaging technology presently marketed in Europe and are being brought to the United States in the form of a cooperative agreement between the French company Sederma and the Olay brand of Procter & Gamble.
