Schaumburg, Ill.

- The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) has appointed a new assistant secretary-treasurer and a new board member, according to an AAD press release.

The AAD board of directors appointed Suzanne M. Olbricht, M.D., F.A.A.D., a dermatologist in Newton, Mass., as its assistant secretary-treasurer. She will succeed Robert D. Greenberg, M.D., when he becomes secretary-treasurer at the conclusion of the AAD annual meeting in 2010.

Darryl M. Bronson, M.D., M.P.H., F.A.A.D., a dermatologist in Highland Park, Ill., was appointed to the board of directors for the one-year vacancy that was created after Ronald L. Moy, M.D., F.A.A.D., was elected 2010 president-elect of AAD earlier this year. He will complete Dr. Moy’s term at the close of the 2010 annual meeting.

Drs. Olbricht and Bronson will also hold the same positions for the American Academy of Dermatology Association.
