Vial, in partnership with the 2022 Winter Clinical Dermatology Conference, announced it will host an advisory board with leading research to discuss the challenges in clinical research, with special attention to increasing the speed and quality of trials in dermatology.

Vial launched the Vial Dermatology contract research organization (CRO), taglined as “The CRO Built for Sponsors”, with the aim of facilitating higher quality, and faster executed clinical trials. This new organization will be powered by the Vial Clinical Network comprising more than 35 dermatology clinics throughout the United States.

Betsey Zbyszynski will lead the Vial CRO team as the head of clinical operations. The team includes Jason Shuris, as head of sales; Janet DuBois, MD, a dermatologist and principal researcher at DermResearch in Austin, Texas, as medical director; Justin Withers as head of dermatology; and Mamta Hunt as head of quality. The Vial executive team will be at the 2022 Winter Clinical Dermatology conference to engage with sponsors of dermatology research and top research sites.

The Vial CRO advisory board will discuss the current challenges facing dermatology clinical research, capture feedback on the Vial Dermatology CRO model, and engage the community on improving trial quality and speed. The Vial executive team will incorporate the feedback into the Vial Dermatology CRO strategy and release a whitepaper on Vial.com highlighting the feedback.
